Description

Arik sets place in the future and tells the story of a robot pilot. The main protagonist,  Arik Yamato is a newly graduated military operatives to pilot the prototype robot, FLAG-S.  During his first ever battle due to a sudden invasion by the Alliance, Arik recollects what happened in his childhood and how it all begins, but is it all too late?

References

This piece is a direct reference to Mobile Suits Gundam, a popular Japanese multimedia franchise that I personally love. If you wish to explore the reference by yourself, don't read further.

Arik Yamato - the name refers to Kira Yamato, the main protagonist of the anime Mobile Suits Gundam SEED.

FLAG-S -  the name refers to SVMS-01 Union Flag in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The BURST system of which is also a direct reference to the TRANS-AM system from the same anime.

ZAK - a direct reference to MS-06 Zaku II, a popular mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam.

Notes

Overall I want to create a story to show the usual ending of a soldier who doesn't possess inhuman power or luck to the traditional main protagonist. I hope you enjoy!
